Alex Mino

I am Alex Mino, a previous parishioner of St Francis of Assisi in Johnsonville (prev. Sts Peter and Paul). I am part of the Parish Pastoral Council (PPC) and glad to be a part of various ministries of the Sacred Heart Cathedral.

Presently, I am working for AECOM NZ in the field of design and consultancy.

We are originally from the Philippines and have been residing in Wellington, New Zealand for the past 9 years.

I believe that we are called to serve and to acknowledge that we can serve and be part of wider things in our little way. We all hear the term, time, talent, and treasure. These 3 words are a good indication of how we can choose to share, take part, and give back on what we have and what we can give in return for what God has sustained and blessed us with.

I look forward to continuing to serve our parish community and building connections with the Sacred Heart parishioners.
