Spring is here, and our late night Masses are continuing!

Young people are invited to our next late night Mass at 8pm on Friday, 10 October. Taking place at The Metropolitan Cathedral of the Sacred Heart (40 Hill Street, Thorndon in Wellington), everyone’s welcome.

If you’re able, please bring a plate of kai – there’ll be time for socialising after.

Holy Hour for Peace in the Holy Land – On Sunday, 12 October, 3pm, at the Cathedral the parishes of Wellington will gather in a Holy Hour to pray for peace in the Holy Land. At the same time throughout the Archdiocese pastoral areas will be gathering in prayer. Please come to the Cathedral to pray for peace.

Scripture Reflection (held every Tuesday evening from 6 pm until 6.45 pm in the Parish Office).

The Gospel scripture for the coming Sunday is read and discussed within a small group.  Everyone gets the opportunity to express their views no matter what level of knowledge of the Liturgies.  The discussion is deemed to be very beneficial in providing background to the Gospel when it is read in the next Saturday and Sunday’s Masses.
