Multicultural Dinner – Mark your calendar for Sat 27 Feb 2021
Join us for an evening of culinary delights. As part of the fundraising drive for the earthquake strengthening of our Cathedral, a special Multicultural Fundraising Dinner will be held at St. Patrick’s College Hall, 581 Evans Bay Parade on Saturday, 27 February 2021, 7:00pm (non-alcoholic drinks will be served).
Our dinner organising committee will bring you special treats from across many cultures – Malaysian , Sri Lankan, Chinese cuisine and much more. Only $50 per person. Special family rate available for those with young children.
A special raffle will take place at the event with prizes to be won.
Get your tickets after Mass or contact Frank at the Cathedral Parish Office or Bing Fernandes on 021-279-7474. All proceeds will go to our Cathedral reopening campaign.

7.30pm Archdiocesan Mass of Thanksgiving (by invitation only)
8.30am Parish Mass
9.00am-5.00pm Day of Adoration – groups, parishes, and chaplaincies are invited to lead an hour. Open to everyone to spend time in prayer with the Lord.
5.00pm Ecumenical celebration of Evening Prayer – all welcome
10.00am Archbishop Paul to preside at the Cathedral Parish ‘homecoming’ Mass and bless and install Fr Patrick Bridgman and Debbie Matheson as the Cathedral Pastoral Team
11.00am Refreshments and fellowship following Mass.
2.00 – 4.00pm – Tours of the Cathedral sharing the processes of the restoration and strengthening work. Entry by Koha. Tours at 2.00; 2.45 and 3.30pm.
7.00pm Evening Mass will bring the weekend to a close.

A Lenten initiative of prayer and reconciliation celebrated around the world on the eve of the 4th Sunday of Lent.
’24 Hours for the Lord’ will begin with an Opening Liturgy at 5:30pm on Friday 28th March, continue through the night and end with the Vigil Mass at 5:30pm on Saturday 29th March.
Parishes and communities are invited to take the lead for an hour or two during these 24 hours. Everyone is welcome to visit the Cathedral and spend some time in prayer for peace, healing and hope in our broken world.


Jubilee of Youth
In this week throughout the world there have been celebrations of the Jubilee for Young People. Rome has had over 500,000 young adults and youth come to celebrate their faith.
The Cathedral hosts two celebrations this weekend.
Friday 8.00pm Mass with Archbishop Paul. Saturday 7.00pm XLT Praise & Worship. All are welcome.
