Dear parishioners and all who may read this,
We experience a mixture of emotions today. The sadness that comes with death, as we mourn our beloved Holy Father, Francis, Bishop of Rome. We also feel a deep joy, for this humble man, who was called to love and serve like Jesus, has returned to “the Father’s house” having fulfilled his life’s mission.
We will be praying for the Pope Francis in Masses and liturgies within the Cathedral in the coming days.
May the God of infinite mercy receive his beloved child into his eternal embrace.
